Harold Be Thy Name

Young Christians are often taught the practice of saying nightly prayers before going to sleep. Sadie, seven years old, has been very dutiful in remembering her nightly prayers, but does not understand the meaning of many of the words that she recites. This story comes from little Sadie not hearing one of the lines correctly, thinking that instead of “hallowed be thy name,” her mother has been saying “Harold be thy name”, thus believing that Harold is the name of God. One night, she calls out to Harold and God answers her prayers.
What follows is an amazing conversation with the Lord that examines the meaning and teachings that are discussed in the Lord’s prayer. Filled with vivid colors, stunning imagery and an in-depth theological conversation, Harold Be Thy Name, attempts to bring the lofty goals of Christianity down to a child friendly, fun-loving version.
